This would be a good time to talk about Lumenati, the new collective we are a part of and now serves as our headquarters. We have been doing some fun stuff together, including this CSPI ad spoof of the original “hilltop” coca cola ad.

We helped Dan Knudson Productions capture some sudsy footage for the Hop Union’s annual Alpha King competition.
“Each year, a team of brewers and veteran beer writers test the vigor of their hoppy findings and crown an Alpha King, deeming his (or her) beer to be the holy grail of well-balanced and drinkable, yet highly-hopped ales.”
Last summer we had the opportunity to capture footage for “The Longest Day”, which is a team event to raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association. Teams are encouraged to create their own experience as they fundraise and participate in an activity they love to honor someone facing the disease.
We rode along with a biker gang, attended a BBQ, Captured a billiards tournament and capped it all off with a lake party with live music and kayaking. We met a lot of great people along the way and it was a very inspiring day. (Photos by Paul Miller – www.millerphotographics.com)
Siemens and icommunications reached out to us to help capture footage of the United Launch Alliance here in Denver, Colorado.
We recently produced two live studio videos for Lizzie Weber, a young and talented folk artist hailing from St. Louis. Big thanks to Dane Iwata of Greenz Productions for providing most of the gear and running one of the main cameras.
Having fun with our new GoPro Hero 3+ and suction cup mount. If you haven’t already checked out Baere Brewing on South Broadway in Denver, do it, they pour a tasty brew.
We don’t usually do weddings, but when a friend gives us the call and hands over the keys to do it our way it’s a great collaboration. Here’s a still from Matt and Sara Schreiber’s nuptials filmed yesterday in Evergreen, Colorado.
In preparation for a shoot that required capturing split-second moments I recently had the opportunity to test out the FS-700 and it’s high speed frame rates. So I got to smashin’ shit..
I was very impressed how well the quality held up at 480fps, granted this was a very highly-lit test. We shot in a much lower-lit environment and pushed the ISO for the actual shoot and the image did degrade but still very acceptable at 480fps.. We will be posting that video soon, where 8 iPhone 5’s met their demise for “the good of the film”!
While on a shoot for the Alzheimer’s association and “The Longest Day” we captured this rendition of an old Jerry Garcia tune.
I recently had the opportunity to hop on the bus with the Wayfaring Band, a group of road-savvy traveler’s who equip young adults with special needs. It was an amazing experience and I captured the adventures in this 10 minute edit of the journey. This cut was intended to be a direct reflection of my experience. Notion Productions will be producing a promotional video this summer, aimed at raising awareness about this incredible group.
Go check these guys out and support if you can www.thewayfaringband.com
